The CEZA employees gathered together on November 25, 2024 to launch the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW). With this year’s campaign theme, the kick-off ceremony included messages from CEZA Head, Sec. Katrina Ponce Enrile, and Deputy Administrator for Support Services, Dr. Perla Tumaliuan. The program also included the playing of videos from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) meant to raise awareness about the campaign.
The 18-Day Campaign to end VAW is a campaign established by PCW that started in 2022 and intended to be fulfilled until 2027. With a recurring yearly campaign theme, “UNiTEd for VAW-free Philippines,” this year’s sub-theme, “VAW Bigyan Wakas, Ngayon na ang Oras!”, stresses out the urgency of the advocacy in line with the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the signing of R.A. 9262 or the Anti-VAWC Act of 2004.
Let’s be “United for a VAW-Free Philippines” and “VAW Bigyang Wakas Ngayon na ang Oras”
