Sec. Enrile’s Nationwide Billboards Honor President Marcos Ahead of SONA 2024

Ahead of the 3rd State of the Nation Address on July 22, 2024, Sec. Katrina Ponce Enrile, Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), took a bold step to extend her congratulations and support to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.

Sec. Enrile’s gesture was prominently displayed across multiple platforms. Her message was featured on CEZA’s official website (www.ceza.gov.ph) and social media page (CEZA Facebook). It was also showcased on printed tarpaulins along the main road in Sta. Ana within the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP), as well as on LED displays in CEZA’s reception areas in NCR, Tuguegarao City, and Sta. Ana, CSEZFP. The highlight was the grand display of this message on large LED billboards along major highways, including those in NCR, Antipolo, MacArthur Highway, and Lipa in Batangas. The billboards featured images of President Marcos, Jr. and Sec. Enrile side-by-side with the “Bagong Pilipinas” logo in the background. The message was concise and direct: “Congratulations and Mabuhay President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. on your State of the Nation Address 2024 from Cagayan Economic Zone Authority.”

It read,

“CONGRATULATIONS AND MABUHAY, PBBM!

The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), through the leadership and stewardship of its Administrator and Chief Executive Officer – Secretary Katrina Ponce Enrile, would like to manifest its support and congratulate President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. in his 3rd State of the Nation Address today, July 22, 2024.

CEZA remains steadfast in supporting President Bongbong in this administration’s efforts to uplift the lives of Filipinos and improve the Philippine economy. As Sec. Ponce Enrile has conveyed, “We, at CEZA, are dedicated to play a proactive role in supporting the administration’s initiatives and transformative governance for us to develop a future-proof special economic zone and freeport in the crossroads of the Asia- Pacific Region for economic prosperity and sustainable development in our country.”

Rest assured that CEZA will continue to be involved in promoting economic activities, attracting investments to the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport, creating job opportunities, driving economic growth and contributing to the overall economic development of the Philippines.

As CEZA’s Head, Sec.
