The first modern building is taking shape on a three-hectare land in CEZA Business District in Barangay Centro, Santa Ana, Cagayan to be ultimately known in Cagayan Freeport as the landmark, CEZA Corporate Center.
Once completed, the CEZA Corporate Center will promote the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP) and enable “ease of doing business and investment” in the zone by providing an adequate and more conducive working environment for CEZA employees as well as for its locators/ investors.
According to Secretary Raul Lambino, this is also to standardize all CEZA offices to local regulatory and ISO 9001 International Standards in order to deliver high quality services, improve personnel productivity and efficiency towards excellent customer service.
Tourism offices, attracted by the surge in tourist arrivals in Santa Ana, are expected to be among the first locators to take up office space in the said corporate center, followed by local commercial banks.”The Corporate Center is expected to fulfill CEZA’s vision to make it a vibrant hub of diverse and sustainable industries,” Secretary Lambino said.
