The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) is set to celebrate its 26th anniversary with simplicity but in a meaningful way on February 24, 2021 due to the continuing threat of COVID-19.
As part of the agency’s 26th Founding Anniversary, there will be a medical and optical mission and job fair for Santa Ana residents and nearby towns on February 23 at the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP).
The medical and optical mission and job fair will be conducted in accordance with the strict health protocols set by the Provincial IATF and in partnership with various line agencies, aiming to provide basic health and optical services, and at the same time, employment for Cagayanos, especially those who lost their income source to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For many years, CEZA plays an important role in job creation and investment generation not only in Region 2 but also in Northern Luzon.
A thanksgiving mass is scheduled on Feb. 24 in all CEZA offices- Mandaluyong, Tuguegarao, and Santa Ana, Cagayan in celebration of the agency’s actual anniversary.
The mass will be followed by an anniversary message from Secretary Raul L. Lambino, CEZA administrator and CEO who is likewise expected to give an update on the construction of the agency’s flagship projects in the Freeport, including those completed ones that are slated to inaugurate this year. Also included in the short program is the ribbon cutting for the newly installed Gender And Development Corners of CEZA.
CEZA assured sustainable development in the Cagayan Valley region through its various quality infrastructure projects — in line with its mission to improve the quality of life of the people in the region.
