The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority is pleased to announce that Mr. Purisimo Lorenzana Tiam has been appointed to its board of directors, effective July 29, 2019.

Mr. Tiam, who is native of Nueva Vizcaya will represent the Business and Investment Sector from the municipality of Sta. Ana, for a term of three (3) years, replacing Jose V. Hipolito who contributed significantly to the progress of the agency during his tenure.
The 64-year-old Tiam is a Mechanical Engineer by profession, and in addition to owning and running his own business, has over 30 years of business management experience.

With decades of experience in business, Mr. Tiam is a perfect complement to the board and to the agency, given his wide experience of dealing with business and investments that will greatly benefit CEZA. Lambino, administrator, and CEO of CEZA.
Tiam, on his part, promised to do his duties to the best of his ability.
“I was really honored. It’s exciting to join the CEZA’s board. CEZA is a promising agency and has established itself as one of the investment hubs in the country. I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members to help them continue to implement the drastic reforms needed for the Cagayan Freeport, for the inclusive growth in Northern Luzon that will improve the quality of life of local residents in Cagayan Valley region,” Tiam said.
