The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) continues its full-force operations that kicked off last weekend at Sta. Ana, Cagayan for the Typhoon #NenengPH-affected families and individuals.
Since 5 a.m. of October 16, 2022, CEZA has been able to provide one (1) unit dump truck to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) for the rescue and transport of evacuees and two (2) units of backhoe for road clearing operations due to landslide and collapsed Detour Palawig Bridge. On the same day, the CEZA Quick Response Team also started preparing relief goods. On October 17, 2022, CEZA endorsed 809 packed relief goods to the MDRRMO and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sta. Ana, which distributed the said goods to affected residents.
Together with the DSWD, CEZA will distribute its next batch of 227 repacked relief goods to Barangay Sta. Clara, 55 to Barangay Dungeg, 275 to Barangay Marede, and 198 to Barangay Parada Batu today, October 18, 2022.
