The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), pledged its commitment to support President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s initiatives during the 6th Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) held on May 21, 2024, at Shangri-La The Fort, Taguig City.
“We are proud to stand in solidarity with the President’s efforts to promote collaboration and innovation in the Indo- Pacific region,” said Sec. Katrina Ponce Enrile, Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of CEZA.
As the Keynote Speaker during the forum, Pres. Marcos affirmed that his administration remains at the forefront of promoting the Philippines as a prime investment destination in the Indo- Pacific region through various strategic partnerships, such as Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Generalized System of Preference (GSP), ensuring that investors benefit from preferential market access.
“Through our ties with different countries, our nation enjoys access to various markets, including the ASEAN market, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and the Philippines- Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (PJEPA), among others.
