Coastal Cleanup and Mangrove Planting

At least twice a year, CEZA gathers volunteers from government agencies and private group to collect trash from shorelines and reefs in Sta. Ana, Cagayan.

CEZA organizes mangrove planting with the help of community volunteers at least once every quarter.

CEZA’s Commitment to Environmental Protection

The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) is committed to environmental stewardship in the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP). In collaboration with various groups, CEZA organizes regular coastal cleanups and mangrove restoration activities. These efforts have reduced waste, restored habitats, and strengthened coastal defenses against erosion and extreme weather.
